Jerry Whittle, Sr. was the founder of Jerry Whittle Boats. In the mid-1950’s he owned an appliance store in Ada, Oklahoma. Selling a few pre-owned boats in the parking lot led to a new line of aluminum boats displayed on his appliance showroom.With a couple of years under his belt, he was confident enough to convert his appliance store into an (at the time) state-of-the-art showroom. Using two Whirlpool washer pumps, he showcased four boats in continual motion around a 4’ deep circular pool filled with crystal blue water.In 1965 he decided to move his business to Lewisville, Texas. Jerry Whittle Boats has grown into one of the premier dealerships in the metroplex. Family-owned for over 50 years, we are a full-service dealership that strives to provide excellent customer service.

Great team and would highly recommend this dealership over all the rest on nautical mile. Easy to work with, funny, cold beer and excellent customer service! Vaughn was so very awesome and humble, very clear and understanding to my many stupid questions. He took the time to walk me through whatever it was the my wife and I needed and the fact that this is the owner of the company whos helping us and were not there to buy a new boat but a pre owned one. Vaughn served us as if we were stars on the red carpet. That went a long way for me. The lady in the back office Im sorry for not remembering her name but she was just as helpful and kind to us, very patient and kind, to the gentleman that took us out on the boat to show us how everything works, his attitude was awesome you could see and hear the love for what he does in how he communicated with us. Ive purchased several new boats, but this is the first from Jerry Whittle. So far they have exceeded expectations. I have known of Jerry Whittle for decades but upon deciding to purchase a pontoon for kids and grandkids, I finally got the opportunity to meet several of the staff. A family owned atmosphere is becoming more and more rare in the industry. Chad Williams did a great job of representing the boat I purchased as well as their culture. Very satisfied with my Sylvan Pontoon and the relationships that came from the purchase!

From the beginning when I purchased my boat the experience was exceptional. Jerry Whittle also does all the service to my boat as well and always gets me in and take great care of me. It was a pleasure working with Gary as first time boat buyers. We never got the impression that he was trying to upsell us or take advantage in any way. He listened to our wants and needs and presented several options for us to look into. He was friendly, professional, extremely knowledgeable and quickly responded to any questions or requests that we had. From our first stop in to browse, to the financial process, all the way down to the test drive with Monty; the entire staff is excellent.
